The much-awaited Avengers: Endgame has become the latest victim of piracy. According to reports, infamous piracy website TamilRockers has leaked a cam print of the entire film online two days before its release.
The film was scheduled to release on April 26, two days from now. There was much hype surrounding the film’s release and if the reports are true, the website runners’ latest move is sure to hamper the film’s business in India.
A poor quality camera-recorded print of ‘Avengers: Endgame’ has been released on sites such as PirateBay and TamilRockers. As per reports, the leak is said to have originated in China as it released two days ahead of the United States.
The excitement of fans has gone up to frenzied levels, with just one day to go for the release of Avengers: Endgame. The advance ticket sales were unprecedented and the film is set to have an earth-shattering opening, estimated to be over Rs 40 crore, at the box office.
Tamilrockers are fast earning a bad reputation for leaking freshly released films, after a day or sometimes even on the day of the theatrical release of films, on their pirate websites. Despite having being banned by the government, the piracy site continues to pose a serious threat to the business of films.
The world premiere of Avengers: Endgame was held on Monday night in Los Angeles and fans tearfully noted that it was an epic end to the franchise.
Avengers: Endgame has also received rave reviews and has a 96 per cent score on Rotten Tomatoes. The critics’ consensus on the website says, “Exciting, entertaining, and emotionally impactful, Avengers: Endgame does whatever it takes to deliver a satisfying finale to Marvel’s epic Infinity Saga.”
The latest movies on Hindi, English, Tamil, and Telegu can be easily found on Tamilrockers website on the day of release. Apart from the movies, Tamilrockers is also releasing the latest series of Netflix, Amazon Prime, and others.
The government agencies have tried a lot to block the access of Tamilrockers website. However, once the website link is blocked it is hosted on some other domain name.
